You need to have a cable to read the unlock code from the phone but you don&#39;t have to unlock it by cable. You can enter the harvested unlock code by hand. There is also the provision for a direct unlock but it is not a necessity.<br /><br />Additionally you can reset the NCK to 00000000 if you want and then unlock it like it was any other Samsung phone.
